The specials are a set of holds that take the most interesting aspects of a rocks features and subtleties and use them to inspire the shapes. The idea behind these sets are to add interest to your routes, whether the holds are used as footholds, or as tricky hand-holds. Ideal for competitions, used on plywood macro features, either as Screw-ons or bolt-ons - these specials incorporate both options. In this set of 10, Pebbles, Bullet wounds, Rugosities, the unusual foot placements on Ben's Wall (Curbar), Small uncompromising pockets found on slabby walls, and subtle lines found on the grit have been the source of inspiration in creating the Gritstone specials line.
